If you are PST negative, the standard periodontal treatments should be effective in arresting and controlling the progress of any periodontal disease. If your are PST positive, extra effort has to be put into maintaining excellent oral hygiene and meticulous home care, with more frequent visits and more aggressive treatments in order to you to keep your teeth into your later years.
• Special home care appliances. We have a number of appliances that have been proved to dramatically improve the quality and texture of gingival tissue when used at home. Such as: Irrigation devices, special vibrating electric toothbrushes, and miniature brushes for cleaning in-between your teeth.
